Command attention in the Mallika-e-Sheesh Poshak, a garment fit for a queen whose beauty is reflected in every detail. This exquisite creation starts with a field of rich, deep indigo cotton, symbolizing the boundless night sky. The regal V neckline is meticulously detailed with traditional hand-embroidery in warm saffron and crimson tones, crowned by shimmering Sheesh (mirror) work that captures and reflects light like scattered starlight—a subtle, dazzling flourish. The silhouette is defined by a chevron patchworked waistband, ensuring a flattering, tailored fit enhanced by a delicate tie-back closure. A continuous line of fine golden-toned buttons traces the front placket. The design culminates in a magnificent hemline border, featuring a broad panel of contrasting heritage blockprints that are patched together to form one exquisite border. This Poshak is more than a dress; it is a wearable art ,a fusion of power and poetry, designed for moments of true theatrical elegance.

To care for Ajrakh prints, hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Avoid scrubbing, wringing, or machine washing, and instead gently press out excess water. Air-dry the item flat in the shade, as direct sunlight can cause fading and shrinkage, and iron it inside-out on a low setting if needed.
Washing
- Hand wash only: Avoid machine washing, as the agitation can damage the fabric and cause colors to bleed.
- Use cold water: Always wash in cold water to prevent shrinking and fading of natural dyes.
- Use mild detergent: Opt for a mild or plant-based cleanser and avoid harsh chemicals and bleach.
- Soak briefly: Let the item soak for about 5-10 minutes, then gently swish it in the water or rub soiled areas with your fingers.
- Avoid rubbing: Do not scrub, wring, or twist the fabric. Gently press to remove excess water.
- Wash separately: Wash Ajrakh prints separately or with similar colors, especially for the first few washes, as some color bleeding is normal.
Drying
- Air-dry in the shade: Lay the garment flat in a shaded area to dry.
- Avoid direct sunlight: Direct sun can cause colors to fade and the fabric to shrink.
- Remove excess water: Gently press out water instead of wringing.
Ironing and storage
- Iron inside-out: To protect the print, iron the fabric from the reverse side on a low heat setting.
- Store properly: Ensure the fabric is clean and completely dry before folding and storing it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
