Unveil a story of intricate artistry and dramatic elegance with The Nayika's Celestial Tapestry Set. This exquisite two-piece ensemble is a wearable masterpiece, celebrating the rich heritage of block printing and embellishment. The Anarkali-style kurta begins with a bodice of deep midnight black, adorned with a mesmerizing celestial net of geometric motifs in rust, blue, and cream. Each star in this intricate pattern is brought to life with delicate shisha (mirror) work and fine gold bead detailing that shimmers like distant galaxies. The flattering neckline is framed with exquisite gold zari and contrasting rust borders. The kurta's voluminous flare descends in a wave of royal indigo, emblazoned with larger, flowing botanical prints in complementary earthy hues. The drama continues to the back, where a striking corset-style lace-up detail allows for a custom fit and adds an element of captivating allure. The sleeves are a fusion of border prints, creating a harmonious visual journey. Completing the set are the matching Patiala-style pants, featuring a nuanced striped print that grounds the look with rhythmic elegance. Together, this ensemble is an ode to the Nayika—a heroine embodying grace, passion, and artistic spirit.

To care for Ajrakh prints, hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Avoid scrubbing, wringing, or machine washing, and instead gently press out excess water. Air-dry the item flat in the shade, as direct sunlight can cause fading and shrinkage, and iron it inside-out on a low setting if needed.
Washing
- Hand wash only: Avoid machine washing, as the agitation can damage the fabric and cause colors to bleed.
- Use cold water: Always wash in cold water to prevent shrinking and fading of natural dyes.
- Use mild detergent: Opt for a mild or plant-based cleanser and avoid harsh chemicals and bleach.
- Soak briefly: Let the item soak for about 5-10 minutes, then gently swish it in the water or rub soiled areas with your fingers.
- Avoid rubbing: Do not scrub, wring, or twist the fabric. Gently press to remove excess water.
- Wash separately: Wash Ajrakh prints separately or with similar colors, especially for the first few washes, as some color bleeding is normal.
Drying
- Air-dry in the shade: Lay the garment flat in a shaded area to dry.
- Avoid direct sunlight: Direct sun can cause colors to fade and the fabric to shrink.
- Remove excess water: Gently press out water instead of wringing.
Ironing and storage
- Iron inside-out: To protect the print, iron the fabric from the reverse side on a low heat setting.
- Store properly: Ensure the fabric is clean and completely dry before folding and storing it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
